Sir:-- Your letter dated Jan. 20th in relation to the printing press upon which the first edition of the book of Mormon was printed, has been received. It may be the identical press; but we have no desire to purchase it, as our interest is centered more in the book than upon the type or press with which it was printed. We really have no more respect for that press than we would have for the tables on which Mathew and the rest of the evangelists and apostles wrote their gospels and epistles.
