Dear Brother:-

Your letter of 23rd of Feb. on the subject of building a Mill in Summit Creek Canon, has been received. As there seems to be a claim held by brother Benjamin F. Johnson to that Canon, and he asserts that he would be wronged by your building a mill as you propose, I have deemed it better to write to brother George A Smith, who is expected shortly from the South, and who is familiar with your affairs, to stop and arrange matters satisfactorily to all people of Santa Quin and all concerned.
