Dear Bro:

Bros. Harmon, Gardner and Adams have valued the machinery at Washington, belonging to Brother Chidester & his son at Nineteen hundred and sixty ($1960-) dollars. They want some stock, Cotton Yarn &c. for pay, altho' I consider the valuation pretty high, I am willing to take it. You will please pay them the above amount in such things as you have without interfering with the building of the factory, Keeping a strict a/c of the matter. They may want to pay some Tithing; if so, charge it up to me.

I understand Bro. Hugh Moon wishes to dispose of his place in St. George, and I want to know where the property is; what it consists of and its extent, and what it was worth one year ago, providing he had been paid the money for it.
