Hon. Albert Carrington,
Ed., Deseret News Office.

Dear Brother:-

I have received a note from Judge Phelps, in which he informs <me> that he has just completed a compilation for an Almanac, embracing 1866 and 1867 in one volume, and that he wishes it published.

He says brother Godbe has promised him $50.00 towards it publication. This amount he is willing to turn into your hands, and he says the balance will be soon realized in the sale of the Almanac, as they are in great demand at present.

It would be doubtless quite an assistance to him to have his Almanac printed, and I should like you to print <it> with this condition, however, that you should keep the whole issue in your hands in the office until you have sold enough of them to pay for the printing.

Your Brother,

Brigham Young
