Bishop John Rowberry,
Tooele City, Tooele Co.

Dear Brother:

According to your promise to me, when I paid you One Thousand dollars ($1.000) towards your share of the Mill, you were to turn the Mill over to me on the first day of April and to come over and make out the papers therefor. But I understand that you forbid my agent doing anything in the premises on the first of April, saying that you had not received your pay for the property, &c. You did not come over on the first instant, and though you were here at the Conference, still I had no opportunity of seeing you.

I have been disappointed in your taking the course that you have in this matter, as I have been ready to settle according to agreement. I would be pleased to have you take measures to settle it and make things right immediately, as I do not wish to be compelled to bring such a matter before the priesthood.

I remain Your Brother.
