Dear Sir:-

In reply to your letter of todays date on the subject of purchasing a part of Sister Smith's lot, I have to say that I am quite willing for Mrs Smith to dispose of that piece of land, if it can be deeded to Mrs Lyne and secured to her as her inheritance, otherwise I shall take the land myself and pay her for it, for I can pay her right down.
