The enclosed bill of stationery I wish you to purchase, as you will have a little more time to give it special attention than bro. Clawson. As a general thing, the paper made now is of a very inferior quality; you will therefore have to be careful in your selection of a good article.

Brother Clawson will furnish you the money from my Indian Appropriation to pay the bill.
