Mrs. Electa Bullock,
Provo,

Dear Sister:

On account of the death of Sister Gibson, and the sickness of others of our sisters, we find ourselves short of ladies to carry on the business of the theatre for the summer season. It occurred to me that, if you could conveniently leave home for a month or two, your services would greatly assist us at the present time; and, I think, give satisfaction to the patrons of the theatre. I have therefore sent up brother Calder to see you and talk with you on the subject. If you conclude to come and help us, I will find a comfortable home for you during your stay. I would be pleased to have you speak freely with brother Calder on the terms you would play.

Brother Bullock has charge of the Emigration business at Wyoming, and will arrive here, about the time the emigration reaches this place.
