Dear Brother:--

Your letter of April 16th has just been received. I do not doubt but that a trip accross the plains would have an excellent effect on your health, and you could go into the Southern portion of our Territory, or through the Territory to the Pacific, and probably derive benefit from the change of air, diet, &c. A number of the Saints who had but poor health in the States and in the old countries come out here, and are greatly benefitted by the change. Brother Daniel Tyler is living at Beaver, about 210 miles from here.

With love and praying the Lord to bless you I remain

Your Brother

Brigham Young

P. S. Pack up your effects and sell out and come out with our Church trains, which leave Wyoming, near Nebraska City, Nebraska Territory, about the first of next July. Thos. Taylor is our Agent in New York. His address is Box 3957 Post Office. Isaac Bullock is the Agent at Wyoming.
