To Amoosh and Quadz,

My good Friends:

We hear that you have stolen a band of horses from the Pah-vants. This is wrong. You should not steal from one another; by doing so you have broken the Treaty -- the paper signed at Spanish Fork; as it was agreed then that the Indians should not steal from one another.

Indian John has come up from the Pah-vants to get back the horses which you have taken, and I want you to let him, and the White man who goes with him, have them.
