To Little Soldier,

My good Friend.

I have been told that you have said that you might get mad after awhile and fight. You must stay at home and keep your men with you and not get mad. The Mormons are not going to fight; they want to have peace; and I hope that you have ears and will listen to my talk. You must not let your Indians fight, and do not let your Indians go South to help the bad Indians down there in killing and robbing the Whites.
