Elder John Tullidge,
City,

Dear Brother:

Your wife, to whom you gave a Bill of Divorce a short time since, has called upon me and represented her condition and circumstances.

She has been working out in a family as help; but she finds herself unable to perform the labor required of her and she has been compelled to give up her situation. She has found a place where she can live, upon condition that she furnish herself; but this she cannot do, as she is destitute of means. She wants help, especially in view of her being sick before long -- and it is this that prevents her from working and sustaining herself,-- and I feel that you ought to render her the needed assistance in her present emergency.

I remain Your Brother,

Brigham Young
