Dear Brother:

Your note of the 11th instant, respecting the yoke of cattle which you state you loaned to me when we left Nauvoo, has been received.

I have no recollection of having received them, yet I may have done so, and, of course, if so, I will gladly pay for them. Who received the cattle from you for me, and how were they used? Probably you can recollect about this, and can give me answers to my inquiries.

With love I remain,

Your Brother,

Brigham Young
