President Lorenzo Snow,

Dear Brother:

You are hereby authorized to superintend and take charge of the Poles for our Home Telegraph from Box Elder to Ogden City and from here East to the Settlement called Denmark, and see that every Pole is according to Contract-- Twenty-two (22) feet long, eight (8) inches at the butt and Five (5) inches at the top, and each Pole to be peeled six feet from the butt and to be placed at least four (4) feet in the ground, and to be set as near an air line as possible, and you are authorized to call upon the Bishops of the various Wards for any help that you may need.
