Dear Brother:

Sister Harriet F. Brown has been residing in your Ward and she is anxious to procure a piece of land there on which she can build a house. There is common there, if I remember aright, which is not taken up that she can have a piece of. The wife of Thos. George, Mill Creek, says that she lives unhappily with her husband, and she wishes to be separated from him. She wishes to attend meeting, but he seeks to prevent her. His second boy, the child of another wife, threatens to leave home if she does not, and she feels that under the circumstances she cannot stop any longer. How is it with them?

With love I remain Your Brother,

Brigham Young
