Gentlemen:

I am just in receipt of yours of Novr. 20th, and regret your bill has not been paid. My Agent, Mr. Clawson, when in New York, instructed Isett, Kerr & Co. to pay you on the 19th Sept.the funds having been placed in their hands to do so. I have this day telegraphed them to pay you $2405.00, and also telegraphed you that I have done so.
