Your favor of the 29th March has been received, in which you state that a Spaniard by the name of Hilario Alip[an] proposes to catch and break a band of wild horses belonging to the Church which are running west of your place. I have objections to the Spanish method of breaking horses, and would prefer them being broken according to our style.
