Dear Sister:
I wish to express my feelings to you respecting inviting my family to visit your house. I have objections to your decoying or asking my children to leave my house, and have to request that you will not do so, and especially not to introduce them to strangers. While Sister Asenath Adams lives in my family, I view her as I would one of my daughters. I am perfectly willing that you should come to my house and visit her and the rest of my folks at my house; but not for them to go where they are likely to form associations of which I am ignorant. I do not think that you would do wrong knowingly; but I have more confidence in your goodness than in your wisdom.

Your Brother
Brigham Young
