Dear Sister:

Your letter of the 25 May, with the copy of the document which you, as administratrix, were requested to sign, has been received and perused. I cannot see what objection you can have to signing this document. It seems to me that there is plenty for you and your daughter. There are some points which you do not explain in your letter. I understand that his property for which you are requested to sign, is assigned to you for your portion. Are you the only living wife that Bro. Lowry had when he died, and did you have any children by Bro. Lowry? If so how many? I do not know what property Bro. Lowry left; but from the perusal of the paper which you forward, I should think your share was a pretty good one.

With kind regards, I remain
Your Brother
