Dear Bro:

Your letter of June 5th on the subject of buying Bro. Calvin Miles' farm has been received. This is a subject about which I have no counsel to give, as I do not know the circumstances fully, and really have nothing to say about it. There are wise brethren in your vicinity with whom you can converse on the subject and from whom you can obtain counsel, which, with the aid of the light of the holy Spirit within yourself, ought to be a sufficient guide in this matter. A little reflection will enable you to perceive that it would not do for me to meddle with affairs of this kind. Israel has grown so numerous that it would take more time than I can possibly spare if I were to do nothing else.
