Dear Sir:

Your letter of May 17 on the subject of a soap weed which grows in this Territory has been received. There is none growing in this vicinity; the nearest that I know of is some two hundred to three hundred miles South of here. I will send your letter to a gentleman who lives south and request him to send you the article that you need, if practicable.
