Dear Brother:

Your favor of June 4th, has been received. I can do no better, in answering it, than to refer you to Brother William H. Miles whose P.O Address is Box 3957 New York City, and whose place of business is 117 John St. He can give you any information that you may need respecting emigration, the movements of our elders &c. He is in a position to be  amiliar with all the details of the emigration from the east and the condition of affairs, and he can give you the counsel you need, as he will see you face to face and you can give him a full explanation of your circumstances.

Everything is very peaceable in this city and Territory, and in most parts of the Territory the prospects for crops are very promising. The saints are rejoicing in the Truth, and are diligently striving to live their religion

With kind regards I remain
Your Brother
