Mrs. Lorenzo D. Rudd,
Fillmore, Millard Co.

Dear Sister:

Your husband, L.D. Rudd, has written to <me> at considerable length of late, and in the last letter which I have received from him he informs me that he has picked up a wife there, <(St. Louis)> a young widow, whom he says he has married according to the laws of Missouri. I forward you, enclosed herewith, extracts from his letters, in which he states his feelings &c. respecting yourself
and this step which he has taken.

If you can secure your property, and wish a divorce, I see no objection to your having one by applying to the Probate Court.

With kind regards to your parents and yourself
Your Brother,

Brigham Young
