Dear Sir:

I was pleased to hear from you through your letter of the 16th of September, and to learn from it that you are still living.

I have written to Elder Zera Pulsipher stating your wishes, and have requested him, if within his power, to forward you the deed that you need. He lives at Shoal Creek, upwards of three hundred miles from here in the southern part of our Territory.

Elders Snow and Woodruff are in the enjoyment of good health. When I see them I shall show them your letter.
