Great Salt Lake City, U. T.
October 21. 1867.

Louis Cohn Esq,
Secretary of Society of Isrealites of this City.

Dear Sir:

Your letter of the 15th instant, enclosing resolutions unanimously adopted at a meeting of Israelites, in which your committee express their appreciation of my proffer to your Society of the use of a hall for their services, also a donation of One Hundred Dollars ($100.) for the benefit of the poor has been received. I should
have earlier acknowledged the receipt of your communication; but have been absent from the city.

I am happy to have had it in my power to assist you in obtaining a hall for the solemnization of your worship. Your donation will be appropriated in the manner you designate, for which please accept my thanks,

Respectfully,
Brigham Young
