Octr. 22nd, 1867.

Elder Noah W. Bartholomew,
Fillmore City.

Dear Brother:

Your favor of the 17th instant, on the subject of the difference between yourself and Bro. M. B. Shipp, has been received.

I am not in a situation to take your place, and even if I were, and were to take it, I could do nothing with it only to let it run to waste. I have advised Bro. Shipp to go and take your property and enter into business in Fillmore, and help build up the place.

With love I remain
Your Brother
