Dear Sister: Your letter of the 20th instant, describing your situation and circumstances has been received.

I have mentioned your case to Bishop Wm. Miller from your City, and have read your letter to him. The Bishop of your Ward and the presiding Bishop are the proper ones to apply to for aid. They will see that you are relieved. Your son is now at an age when he can render you considerable service, and if his labors are properly directed, he can contribute materially to your support.
