Dear Sister,

Your note now lies before me and so far as convenient I will comply with your requests; true it is not much to furnish you a little <tea> or other luxuries if you were the only applicant but when you consider that many scores of people are continually calling upon me to supply them with a(rticles) which can be procured for cash (as you can see) it becomes a very severe tax on me. I take great pleasure in sending those articles which I have on hand, named in your letter and trust that many happy years are yet in store for you.

With love to your family and praying that the Lord to bless you I remain
Your brother in Christ

Brigham Young
