Dear Brother:-Your second favor dated 10th inst. came to hand. I am well pleased with the course you have taken thus far, and in my former letter expressed myself as favorable to your sending for your brother Joseph, which I hope you received in due course of mail.

I herewith enclose authority for you to draw on Capt. Hooper or W. H. Miles -- which may be most convenient -- for such sum as your necessities may require until I have an opportunity to send you means.

It is scarcely necessary for me to add that you will be as economical and prudent as circumstances will admit and may the blessing of God attend you in your labors.

My health is excellent and I believe the people are generally in good health.

The brethren join in kind regards.
Your brother in the Gospel
