Dear Sir.

Being attending to the business of President Brigham Young during his absence from the city, your letter of enquiry regarding Daniel Q. Dennett has come before me.

I was well acquainted with Mr. Dennett when living in this city which is now several years ago, he now lives about 350 miles south of here, at a settlement called Rockville, in Kane County, in this territory. A letter addressed to which place will find him. When last I heard from <him> he was doing well
