Your favor of June 15th came safely to hand, and, as my brother Joseph is the one of my father's sons who married one of Calvin Bicknell's daughters, I handed your letter to him for the detailed reply, as to relations, &c., which you wished. His reply goes in the same mail taking these lines; and as expressed therein by himself and wife, so I also proffer you and your amiable lady a cordial greeting to our mountain home.
