Dear Brother:-

In reply to your's of the 21st ult., I have to inform you that $65 00/100 in greenbacks is the amount estimated for an adult from Liverpool to the terminus of the railroad, and if you will turn over the $20 due you for road work, authorizing me to turn the $20 due you in the telegraph, and forward your note for $25 00/100, with the name and place of your wife's cousin, and be responsible for the additional expense from the terminus of the railroad to this City, I will forward her name to be brought this Season, if in time.
