Dear brother:

In regard to your drawing at the Factory, you are at liberty to do so; but in case of you wish to draw ahead of your wages, so as to increase in stead of diminish your indebtedness, I shall expect you to overdraw as prudently and economically as possible, and to give me a lien on your property.

You are also at liberty, when you visit this City, to bring with you a recommend from your Bishop and have another wife sealed to you.

Your brother in the Gospel
Brigham Young
