Elder William Y. Black,

Dear brother and Sister, William and Jane:

Your very welcome letter of April 13th came safely to hand, and I rejoice in the account you give of your faith and good works, and with you feel thankful that you continue to be so richly blest with the Spirit of the great work in which we are engaged, and enjoy so many of the comforts of life.

I trust that your boys will continue faithful and zealous of good works in their new homes, and that the change of air, as you anticipate, may improve George's health.

In regard to the sealings you mention, put in writing the names, dates and places of birth of the person you desire to be sealed, specifying to whom you wish each woman to be sealed, and I will endeavor to see that the matter is attended to at the proper time.

My health and that of my family and of the people in general is good.

Ever praying for your welfare through faithfulness,

I remain,
Your brother in the Gospel,

Brigham Young
