Dear Brother:

Your letter in regard to Fred Holland and a wife of his at your house is to hand, and in reply I have to inform you that I asked him if he had known his wife now at your house before they were sealed, and he
told me, that he had not, but when they were sealed he found out that she was with child. He is poor and sick, and has nothing. I am supplying his family with fuel, houseroom, food &c., and am receiving
nothing in return. The wife at your place had better remain where she is, for he can do nothing for her here, as he is not able to do anything for himself.

Your Brother in the Gospel
