Dear Brother:

If bro. Hugh S. Gowans will forward the $100.00/100 and the names of those he wishes brought from New York, we will endeavor to have them brought to the terminus of the railroad, from which point, as you mention they can be brought by the teams sent.

So soon as it is known how much their transportation costs, over the $100.00, I shall want bro. Gowans and his father-in-law to give their note with good scarcity for its payment as early as possible.
