Dear bror:-Your favor 24th inst with money as stated received, viz G Bks $41 Gold Coin $10. to bring out Joseph & Elizabeth Betts from Pennsylvania this season $50.00 G Bks to bring out Ann Edward Charles and Hyrum Ingram this season from New Jersey.

We cannot bring those persons out for the money. It will take at least $40.00 in cash per person from New York to end of railroad.

Please let me know (since you did not state it in your letter) who furnished the above money & was it intended for a donation to the Fund Co or as a draft or remittance in favor of those individuals.
