Dear bro:-

Your favor of 6th inst is received stating who furnished the money enclosed by you in former letter. ($91.00 Cy & $10.00 Coin)

I have not been allowed hitherto to transmit money to persons in the states, and such business has not been received at this office the present season. We have generally told the brethren to buy a Post Office order & send it to their friends in the states.

I am therefore compelled to hold the money subject to your order, and hope you will send for it as soon as possible.
