Dear Brother:

In regard to your letter of the 25th inst., inclosing a letter from Sister Dorothea Edwards, dated 26th inst., probably the best plan will be for you to have the other portion of the late Bishop Edwards' family take out letters of administration upon his estate, or, if they refuse doing so, for you to appoint an administrator or administrators, upon said estate, or take charge of the estate yourself, and in either case see, as the virtue of your office requires, that sister Dorothea is justly dealt by in the matter.

Your brother in the Gospel,

Brigham Young
