Dear Brother:

Your favors of the 19th and 20th inst., with Bishop Larsen's resignation inclosed, came safely to hand.

If convenient, please get me the testimony and items in regard to the report you mention, for, as far as my memory serves me, I know nothing about it. I will visit San Pete as soon as I can conveniently.

In regard to the Bishopric at Springtown, you are at liberty to exercise your own judgement, though do not ordain the one you select, but simply call him to officiate in that office.
