Aug. 13. 1868.

George S. Bowen Esq.,
15 & 17 Randolph Street. Chicago.

Dear Sir,

Your letter, circulars, &c. are received, but came too late for any action on our part to meet the time of your recent exposition.

We have not as yet raised wool nor manufactured cloth, sufficient for our home consumption, consequently have none for exportation.

I believe your undertaking will be of great benefit to wool growers and cloth manufacturers, throughout the country, and I wish you such success at so laudable an undertaking, honorably carried out, may merit.

Very Respectfully

Brigham Young
