Bishop John Sharp
Upper Canon. Weber.

Dear Brother

Will you give me a writing, wishing me to pay to Joseph A. Young the money that is due on your contract without your being here to sign the certificate. If this is not according to your mind please to inform me what you wish in the case.

I want you should put on all men on the tunnels and else where that can work to advantage.

As far as we know all your family are well and peace prevails in the city.

Your brother in the Gospel
Brigham Young
