Your favor of August 2, containing a letter written from Nauvoo, in 1840, by Mr. Joseph G. Hovey is before me. Mr Hovey died a few months ago, but he has a brother named Olando, D. who is practising medicine in this City, to whom I will present your letter. He will, no doubt, be much pleased to communicate with you.
