Gold Leaf required by J.H. Ridges (as per his statement) for the Organ
The Gold leaf is retailed at 50 cents per Book, containing 24 leaves, 3 inches square, being
1 x 6 inch in a book without allowing for waste. If 1 x 6 be one book 876 feet will be 586
books at 50 cents will be $293.00.
For lapping allow one 20th. The 20th of 879 feet is 44 feet. 44 feet is 29 Books, value
$14.50
