Dear Sir,

As I am appointed to reply to the letters addressed to President Young during his absence from this City: I will say in answer to your tel. of inquiry dated June 20th. that after several efforts to obtain the
information you desire, we have not been able to find that any person of the name of Emma Woolley has arrived with the immigration this season, as the name does not appear on the books. A communication was addressed to Mr. John Weaver of Raysville, on the subject but no answer has been as yet received.
