Dear Brethren,

Your letter of the 21st inst: would have had an earlier reply had I not been absent from home at the time of its arrival.

I have made a partial agreement with Bro. Flavius Green to <put> up the fence round my farm at Wellsville. <West of Providence>, and consequently do not feel like entering into arrangements with any other brethren to do the same work for me at present, nor would the price you mention answer at all.
