To the Brethren working on my Railroad Contract.

Dear Brethren,

It is my wish and counsel to all the brethren who are working on my contract to push the work ahead with all possible despatch during this fine weather, as we cannot count on its long continuance, and for this reason I deem it advisable for none of you to leave your work to attend conference, but wait until next April, when we can meet and enjoy ourselves with the satisfaction of knowing we have finished this
work appointed to us in the providence of God.

Therefore brethren work at it, until the job is completed and you shall have the prayers and blessing of
besides getting your money

Your brother in the Gospel
Brigham Young
