Gentlemen:-

The barrel of liquor will be held to your order. It is mkd R. but Ranshoff & Co, at their branch store 50 miles East of <here> where most of their freight was delivered, got 1 barrel which was not mkd with R. thereby making their count and weight good: for which they duly paid in full as pr bill lading. It is now at your disposal.

May I ask you to inform Mr Perris of Cronyn & Perris that my stove & fixtures were all duly charged up to "TWE" account.

P.S.
Walker Bros per Gillespie's train calim to be 1 Bale short, but the capt is sure that everything that was recd was delivered. The error in both cases must have been in the way bills.
