I am informed that the person mentioned in my Dft no 696 is not intending to emigrate. Please therefore to draw on the T. in Trust in favor of the buyer of said Dft so it can be paid here & you can report said Dft settled.

My Dft 1415 was drawn at sight & should be paid. The drawee reports she cannot get the money, and the buyer of said Dft is complaining. In accordance with your letter of July 1/68 payment of your C/51 £2. has been stopped here. Since Sept 2. I have drawn on you as follows:--
