Dear Brother,

The bearer of this note is Sister Ann Eardley, who is a wife of Brother John Eardley now called on a Mission to the southern settlements, She complains of her husband refusing to sustain her and her children.

I think it would be well for you to call him before your court before he leaves, and give your decision in the case, and see that Sister Eardley and her children are not left destitute
